This one somehow slid under our radar: Bob Dylan (above, perhaps about to accept his Pulitzer Prize) is returning to Little Rock, this time at the Riverfest Amphitheater on August 26. According to his website, tickets go on sale June 21, with a pre-sale starting June 16. No Willie Nelson on this one apparently — there are no openers listed.

Dylan’s latest, Modern Times, is well worth a listen if you haven’t heard it. His live shows can be hit or miss — when I saw him at a county fair a few years back he couldn’t quite remember all the words — but he mixes up his arrangements and keeps things interesting. Plus with such a huge back catalog to draw from you never know what he’ll play next. Mark your calendars.
