Harry in Elvis mode.

Harry’s Big Adventure, coming Nov. 7-8 at the Museum of Discovery, is aimed at kids, but I’m totally going. Harry the globetrotting praying mantis, seen above, will be on hand (he’s got a blog) along with a chef who specializes in insect delicacies. AND there’s going to be cockroach races and cricket spitting contests.

On Friday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., the museum’s hosting Bugs n Brews, presumably for those grown folk who need a little liquid courage before they spit crickets. Tickets are $25.
