They must’ve liked Juanita’s: After coming through with Nada Surf a few weeks back, Cali’s Delta Spirit brings its soul-inflected Americana back to the venue with a show that also features the Breakthrough and local pop-rock favorites Big Boots, 9 p.m., $7.

Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Tonya Leeks leads a band at the Afterthought, 9 p.m., $7.

The Ted Ludwig Jazz Trio returns to the Capital Bar, 8 p.m., free, where they’ll be Saturday, too.
