Arkansas State University’s excellent annual exhibition of small prints from artists across the country opened today in the Bradbury Gallery. Roberta Waddell, curator emerita of prints at the New York Public Library, was judge. The work includes woodcuts, screenprints, mezzotints, lithographs, and etchings, digital prints, rubber stamps and vitreographs.
Of the 60 artists represented in the exhibit, four are from Arkansas: Dustyn Bork of Batesville, Melissa Gill and Aj Smith of Little Rock and John Salvest of Jonesboro.

ASU has created a significant print collection through purchase awards at the show, which gets financial support from community sponsors, gallery director Les Christensen says in a news release about the show. The exhibition is up until Feb. 17.
