Kathy Lindsey photograph in "Metamorphosis" at M2Gallery.

Wonderful portraits of people with animal heads — sort of reverse centaurs — go on exhibit Saturday when M2 Gallery opens “Metamorphosis,” work by Little Rock photographer Kathy Lindsey. The gallery, in the Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center, will host a reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. that evening. Lindsey uses double exposure and soft-focus and mixed media in a process she says is meant to “open my head and bring others into my world, spilling myself onto paper and canvas with layers of colors, shapes, lines, light, shadow, texture, images, words, and memories.”

The show runs through Nov. 12. Call 225-6257 for more information.
