Hey, hey y’all. Time for a little feedback. The weather is fine in Arkansas, and that typically means there are a lot of food related and outdoor events to attend. I thought I’d take a chance to mention just a few of them.

Of course, Saturday is the Times Heritage Hog Roast at Argenta. Basically every rock star in the food biz will be cookin’ up a pig for you to enjoy. Details here.

There’s also the Blogger Bake Sale benefitting No Kid Hungry. Buy desserts and help kids. The definition of “win-win.” Details.

Thursday May 8th is “A Little Garden Music” at Dunbar Community Garden Project. This is a very cool place to hang out, let your kids cuddle with some farm animals. Eat at Waffle Wagon and listen to music, support the garden. Good times. Details here.

Saturday May 10th our friend Zara Abbasi Wilkerson (pastry chef at Natchez) will be taking over at The Green Corner Store from 10 am to 5 pm. She’ll be serving up some kick azz desserts. You should go eat them. Details here.
