Several new exhibitions, featuring photography, paintings, illustration and more, are the lure for tonight’s Argenta ArtWalk, 5-8 p.m.:
Lali Khalid, whose photograph above has been selected for a digital exhibition of photographs at the Musee du Louvre, is showing work in “The Mom Series” at Argenta Gallery, 413 Main St. That show runs through July 10.
Also new: “Summer Savories” at Mugs Cafe, 515 Main St., featuring the work of Jennifer Freeman, Diane Harper and Endia Bumgarner Price; illustrations and cartoons by Kory Sanders at the Laman Branch Library, 420 Main St.; and new paintings, prints, mixed media, zines and jewelry by teen artists of the Art Connection, 204 E. Fourth St. Greg Thompson Fine Art, 429 Main St., is showing “Magic Realism,” an exhibition of works by Glennray Tutor, John Hartley, Richard Jolley and others; the show ends July 11.
The House of Art, 108 E. Fourth St., is having an open mic show, “Poets Be Like …,” with Washington, D.C., poet JUSME, $5. The North Little Rock History Commission, 506 Main St., is showing a “farewell tour exhibit,” “Give Our Regards to Broadway,” about our historic bridge (also featuring photographs by Greg Davis). Claytime Gallery, 417 Main St., will have pottery making demonstrations and ceramics for sale.
