Where has the year gone? When I saw that Lost Forty Brewing would be celebrating a year in operation on Monday, December 21st, it didn’t seem possible. But even though 2015 is drawing to a close and has seemingly flown by, we can all celebrate escaping Death’s icy grip for another trip around the sun with a few cold ones at Lost Forty’s Hoppy Anniversary Folk & Foam Party.
So what’s going on with this here anniversary gala? Well, the brewery will be debuting a new Doppelbock, and to go along with that, they’ll have a special German-style menu that will begin at 4 p.m. Music will be provided by Adam Faucett & The Tallgrass starting at 6:30 p.m. And while there’s no cover charge to get in, there will be donation buckets around for the Lost Forty Project, “a non-profit foundation created by Lost Forty Brewing and The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission to benefit the preservation and maintencance of the Lost Forty acreage in Calhoun County and to increase awareness and suppot for the important work ANRC does.”
This is a bunch that knows how to throw a party, so I’m sure there will be all sorts of fun. As for the parking question that always pops up when it comes to the popular east Little Rock brew house, Lost Forty would like you to know that you may park at any of surrounding businesses after 5 p.m. Just don’t block the loading docks.
