The raw fish craze in Little Rock is scaling up, with new poke restaurants opening in the Promenade at Chenal and the River Market food hall.

Ohia Poke opens its second restaurant today in the Promenade, across from Nike. The Hawaiian-born salad of various kinds of raw and seasoned fish with vegetables and rice will be served cafeteria style. Ohia offers more than 20 vegetable, fruit and nut toppings to go with the rice and fish (salmon, tuna, yellowtail, spicy tuna) or tofu and sauces. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
At the Ottenheimer Hall of the River Market, Mordecai Lee is opening Fresh Bowl and Roll Bar, where the menu will include poke, sushi and salads. He’s rehabbing the space formerly occupied by Rivershore Eatery and should open Fresh Bowl in a month, market operations director Diana Long says.
