Everyone Asked About You, 2023

The long-anticipated Everyone Asked About You remastered double vinyl reissue from The Numero Group will release on Friday, Sept. 8. Titled after the song “Paper Airplanes, Paper Hearts,” the release consists of the entire 19-track recorded discography of the legendary Little Rock “queer tweemo” band, including their sole LP “Let’s Be Enemies” plus “two and a half” 7 inches released between 1997 and 2000. After disbanding in 2000, Everyone Asked About You played their first show in 23 years at the White Water Tavern.

Also on cassette and streaming services, “Paper Airplanes, Paper Hearts” will be available in four different vinyl varieties: black, white, light blue and baby pink. Better yet, it will be “housed in a gatefold tip on sleeve and includes a 20-page book crammed with flyers, photos, lyrics, and an extensive essay on this crucial missing link between Midwest emo and the Moog synthesizer.”

In addition to “Let’s Be Enemies,” which reappeared on streaming services last month, the track “Sometimes Memory Fails Me Sometimes” is now streamable.
