I wonder how many people, upon listening to John McCain and Sarah Palin desperately telling us of their non-solutions to the economic crisis facing the country today, recalled the theme from All in the Family – particularly the lines:
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again . . .
What a grand idea it would be if the Obama campaign coupled that music with some of John McCain’s not-so-lofty rhetoric.
It would be short, sweet, and get the message across in an unmistakable way. Even Republicans could not fail to get the message.
