Heaven McKinney, owner of The Grind Coffee Bistro, celebrated the grand opening of her new location at Arkansas Baptist College with members of the community, university officials and city leaders on Tuesday. 

A partnership between Arkansas Baptist College and ReMix Ideas brings three Black-owned restaurants to the university's student union: Elnora Wesley's H.O.M.E Vegan Restaurant, Heaven McKinney's The Grind Coffee Bistro, and Corey Nelson's Chicago Flamin Grill.

Heaven McKinney is reopening her West Little Rock location in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center at 11525 Cantrell Road on Saturday.

The Grind Coffee Bistro on Cantrell mostly suffered water damage, Mckinney said, and she expects to reopen within the next two weeks. "The Pettaway location was a complete loss," Mckinney said. She plans to rebuild.
